May 15: Sweden’s Daniel Chopra enjoyed his first trip to the AfrAsia Bank Mauritius Open finishing the tournament in a tie for 50th place.
He fired rounds of 76, 74, 73, and 76 for a total of 11-over-par 299 at the Four Seasons Golf Club.

Korean Jeunghun Wang took top spot with a winning score of six under par, in an event joint-sanctioned by the Asian Tour and the European Tour. Bangladesh’s Siddikur Rahman claimed second place, one shot behind.

It was an encouraging four days of golf for Daniel as he continues to find the form that has seen him win 14 tournaments around the world including two on the US PGA Tour, three on the Web.com Tour, two on the European Challenge Tour and one on the Asian Tour.

He topped the Asian Tour Qualifying School last year to show he still has the winning touch.
