Major Experience To Provide Huge Boost

June 16: Daniel’s third appearance in the US Open came to an end on Friday when he shot a second round eight-over-par 80.

Having opened with a 77 he missed the half way cut at Erin Hills.

However, the whole experience of playing in his first Major in five years will give him a huge lift as he returns to the Tour next week at the Lincoln Land Charity Championships.

Daniel won a US Open Sectional Qualifier two weeks ago to get into Erin Hills and show he is close to get backing to his best.

American Brooks Koepka triumphed in the US Open by four shots with and incredible 16 under winning total.
