Blog: November 25

After a couple of weeks playing in Asia I spent last week been at home in Orlando, Florida, recharging the batteries and nursing a muscle spasm – which I picked up in the Philippines.
I have also been struggling with a lingering cold so the perfect weather in the States did just the trick.
It was a disappointing few weeks in Asia, playing in the Hero Indian Open and the Manila Masters, but as all golfers know the nature of this game is peaks and troughs.
I practiced at Isleworth in a quiet and focussed manner and it went really well.
I also played in a fun shoot out at Bay Hill which helped get the competitive juices going. I have been working on loosening up my swing to deal with the spasm.
In particular I am developing a more fluid relaxed motion which will benefit my game in the long run. I made sure I stayed fit with regular workouts and good healthy home cooking has definitely done wonders for me.
To help me relax I also watched The Ashes on television. What a great result for the Aussies in the first test. Looks like being a great series. I am back in Asia for three weeks now and really looking forward to putting some good scores together to help finish the year strongly.
I love finishing the year playing in Asia, where it all started for me. This will help me to prepare for the 2014 season on the US PGA Tour!
