Invaluable Playing Time Ahead

September 29th, 2016 by Samantha Chopra

September 29: The final few months of the season are upon us and I have an exciting and busy schedule of events both sides of the Pacific Ocean.

I am at the Shinhan Donghae Open in Korea this week followed by the BNI Indonesian Masters from October 6 to 9, then the Venetian Macau Open the week after.

It is really great run of Asian Tour events that I am looking forward to playing in.

Then in November I am back to the States for the PGA Tour Qualifying and then the TaylorMade Invitational Pebble Beach.

It will be an exciting few months as I continue to work on getting my game back to its best. Hopefully I can produce some results that help me turn the corner.

I am in good shape having spent the last few months getting fit at home in Florida while also spending time with the kids and family.

I also played in a number of events on the West Florida Golf Tour highlighted by a runner up finish in the World Woods Open in July. I have had seven top-10 results this season as you can see from my results this year.

I also competed in some Monday Qualifiers for a number of PGA Tour events and played the Ellie Mae Classic at TPC Stonebrae on the Tour in July.

For now though it is the Shinhan Donghae Open, one of Korea’s top tournaments, where I hope to report on some good news soon.
